Affiliates
PangeaTradewinds is seven ! We have been considering our own affiliate program for some time now. We are exited about the pending release of this program. We call it the PangeaTradewinds Affiliate Quorum or PAQ for short. PAQ will be a profit-sharing concept; we will distribute all of the profits* in affiliate commissions and bonuses.
Each affiliate will be paid commensurate with the traffic he or she has delivered to PAQ. The minimum payout rate will be $10.00 per thousand hits. We expect profits to vary from month to month, depending on both advertising and sales revenues. You will be representing a family of websites, so our leverage will support a greater payout rate as time goes on.
For each of your pages you will choose an endorsing hyperlink ( snippet of code ) from among Nine categories to insert into the HTML. Please place this code on every one of your pages on all of your sites, matching like-topic to like-topic. It will produce a small banner link on your page. We recommend that you place this link near the bottom of the page as a "parting shot."
This is a passive link -- no selling please! We have found that a strong sales pitch actually turns people off. The harder you try to sell something, the more likely your visitor will click out and go somewhere else. So don't try to sell anything -- let the merchant's expertise take care of that. We use passive links only. This makes your role in PAQ easy. Just promote your site, not any product in particular.
