| I discovered my
tendency toward high BP when I was in Jr college. Back then, beginning one summer, I joined the campus gym and rode a LifeCycle. Fast Forward...after a recent trip to my doctor my BP was not just borderline, it was high. I tried to walk the hilly neighbor hood around my house for exercise, but between the rain, heat and wind I often found a reason to stay inside. I did not want to join a fitness club, I did not want to take medication, instead I went looking for a LifeCycle, and I found the Vision Fitness HRC 2600. I know I could pedal and sweat as much on a $200 bike, but I also know I would not have stuck with my routine this far on a cheap bike. I did not price shop, I just wanted to get started with a bike that would fulfill all my needs, and I knew that would be commercial quality. I compared side by side the Vision Fitness HRC R2600, a PreCor 846C and a LifeCycle 8500R. The Precor had a great computer display better programs, and visually seemed the most sturdy of the three. The LifeCycle was $2100 it had all of the features of the Vision Fitness except the wireless heart rate strap. Two of the three input plugs had the same jack pinout and so it was possible to mix and match them. I remember the LifeCycle had a random hill climb so as you progress, your journey scrolls in front of you and you deal with what you are dealt. Amount Paid (US$): 1699 |
